Girls-
Don't let the world fool you. That's not the only thing that guys want these days. Guys
like girls who are decently dressed and who are virgins. Trust me. When I dated my first boyfriend, one of his
main reasons for wanting to date me was that he knew that I was a virgin and he knew where I stood on that. He knew
that I would not let him make the same mistakes other girls tried to force him to make. He respected me for that.
There are guys out there who do like girls just because of their bodies and that kind of thing, but let me tell you a secret...a
lot of the guys who are that way are in the popular, supposedly "cute boy" crowd. If all that they care about is your
body, then why would you want to date them? Don't love a guy for his looks. If he's the hottest boy in school,
be careful...he might not only BE the hottest guy, he might KNOW that he's the hottest guy...in which case, he won't shut-up
about himself. Forget Prince Charming. The men in sports jackets and football jerseys who are sitting
in front of the TV on Saturdays and Sundays with our fathers are our friends...trust me...I dated Prince
Charming. He ain't all he's cracked up to be. Love a guy for what's in his heart...even more importantly,
love him for Who (Jesus) is in his heart (hopefully, the guy you like is a Christian).
Guys-
I'll tell you how to show your face in the locker room after that kind of thing. I once heard
it said that the guys who are virgins are the laughing stock of the guys locker room, but the guys who are NOT virgins,
are the laughing stock of the GIRLS locker room. Think about it. Also, don't love a girl just for her looks.
If all she cares about is her looks and your looks, she's probably a stuck up snob. Love a girl for what's in her
heart and how she treats others. If she treats them the way Jesus would, chances are, you've got a winner. |
