My church
family is the coolest!
When I
first came to Pleasant Grove, I had not been in a church for about a year. You see, I had gotten out...then I started
wanting to go back when I could drive mysself. My mom suggested that I go back to PGBC. We had gone there back
when I was about 10 and had left when I was 12. At the church I had been going to with my parents (before I got out
of church), the youth group did not really accept me. It hurts to be the "New Kid in Town" only to discover that after
two to three years of being around the same people, you never outgrow being the "New Kid in Town". You're always in
a group with your multiple personalities and no one else. When I got to PGBC, things started looking up for me.
The singles
group leader has an amazing testimony and I'm always challenged by his messages. He always has a good word for me.
Thank you for uplifting me, J.T.
The singles
are pretty tight-knit, even through times of "financial drought". I look forward to getting to know some of them better.
